Why AI chatbots can't edit your photos
AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can describe what an edit might look like, but they cannot run an interactive canvas pipeline on your specific image. This tool applies per-pixel brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, exposure, vibrance, warmth, sharpness, blur, and fade adjustments in real time using the browser Canvas API. It performs crop with live drag, freehand drawing with brush and eraser, text overlay with font rotation, and exports PNG, JPG, and WebP in your browser. Your photo never leaves the device. This photo editor gives you common image adjustments, filter presets, crop, rotate, flip, text, drawing, shapes, resize, and export, all inside your browser. There is no signup, no daily quota, no watermark, and no upload. Open a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, or BMP, drag the sliders, pick a filter, and download the result.
Adjustments explained
The Adjust tab holds ten real-time sliders. Brightness lifts or drops the overall light level. Contrast widens the gap between dark and light pixels. Saturation boosts or mutes the color intensity. Hue rotates the entire color wheel. Exposure multiplies pixel intensity. Vibrance boosts muted colors more than already-saturated ones for a more natural pop. Warmth shifts the color temperature toward orange or blue. Sharpness applies a soft unsharp mask. Blur applies a Gaussian blur. Fade blends the image toward grayscale.
Filter presets
The Filters tab holds twelve one-click looks. Black and White strips all color. Sepia gives a warm brown tone. Vintage adds a faded yellow cast. Cool pushes blue. Warm pushes orange. Vivid boosts saturation. Faded lowers contrast and saturation for a soft look. Dramatic lifts contrast and shadows. Matte adds flat tones. Noir is a high-contrast B&W with deep blacks. Pop is a bright high-saturation look. Pick one and tweak further with the sliders.
Crop, rotate, flip
The Crop tab lets you pick an aspect ratio and apply a center crop. The Rotate tab rotates by 90 degrees or flips horizontally or vertically.
Text, drawing, shapes
The Text tab adds a centered text overlay that you can drag to reposition. The Draw tab switches the canvas into brush or eraser mode so you can paint freehand strokes. The Shapes tab adds a centered rectangle, circle, line, or arrow that you can drag to reposition.
Resize and export
The Resize tab lets you set custom width and height with optional aspect ratio lock. The Export panel picks PNG, JPG, or WebP. JPG quality is adjustable from 40 to 100.
Privacy and limits
The page loads once, then everything runs locally. Your photo stays in your browser tab. You can disconnect from the internet and keep editing. The only network call is the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Every edit runs locally in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Open DevTools network tab to verify - no upload requests appear.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the page loads, you can disconnect from the internet and continue editing. No server round-trip, no API calls, no analytics beyond the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon.
Will the exported image have a watermark?
No. The exported PNG, JPG, or WebP contains only your edited image with no watermark, logo, or attribution mark.
How does undo and redo work?
Every adjustment pushes to a 50-step history stack. Use the Undo and Redo buttons to walk back and forth between edits. The Reset button restores the original uploaded image at any time.
Can I crop with custom aspect ratio?
The Crop tab offers Free, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 3:4, and 9:16 presets. Pick a preset, then click Apply Crop to crop from the center. For free-form cropping, use the Resize tab with explicit width and height.
Can I draw or add shapes?
Yes. The Draw tab has a brush and eraser with adjustable color and size. The Shapes tab adds a rectangle, circle, line, or arrow that you can drag to reposition.
