About this calendar generator

A ready-to-print calendar for any year between 1800 and 2199. Choose the layout, the day the week starts on, and whether to include US federal holidays and ISO week numbers. The grid lines weekdays up exactly, so the printed page matches the preview. No account, no watermark, no signup wall.

How it works

The calendar is built in your browser the moment you click Generate. The page counts the days in each month, works out which weekday the first day lands on, and fills the grid row by row. Federal holidays follow the official observed rule, so a Saturday holiday is marked on the Friday before and a Sunday holiday on the Monday after. To keep a copy, open the print dialog and choose "Save as PDF" as the destination.

Why AI chat cannot make your calendar

Ask a chatbot for next year's calendar and you get a text table or a block of code, not a sheet you can print. Chat models routinely misplace weekdays, miscount leap days, and guess at holiday dates. This tool does the date math directly and renders a clean, paginated grid with the real observed holidays, so the printed sheet is correct the first time.

Frequently asked questions

Is this calendar generator free?

Every feature here is free. There is no account, no signup, no watermark, and no limit on how many calendars you make.

Why do some holidays move to a different day?

Federal holidays have fixed dates, but when those dates land on a Saturday or Sunday, employees get the next available weekday off instead. The tool adheres to the standard rule for observing holidays and notes both the actual holiday date and the observed date, if they're different.

Can I make a calendar for any year?

Yes. Enter any year between 1800 and 2199 and generate a full year, a single month, or a three-month block.

How do I save a PDF?

Click Print / Save as PDF, choose Save as PDF in the print dialog, and keep the default margins. Turn background graphics on so the holiday shading prints. The grid always fits the page width.

Which holidays are included?

The eleven US federal holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Do fixed-date holidays ever change day?

The dates never change; only the observed weekday shifts. Juneteenth, Independence Day, Veterans Day and Christmas keep their set dates every year.

Is my data private?

The tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server, and you can use it offline once the page has loaded.

What does the week number column mean?

It is the ISO 8601 week number, where the week runs Monday to Sunday and week 1 contains the first Thursday of the year.
