This tool splits text into individual sentences, shows every original next to its rewrite, and lets you accept, reject, or retry one sentence at a time without touching the rest. How the Sentence Rewriter Works

Paste any text from 1 to about 50 sentences. The tool splits it on terminal punctuation (period, question mark, exclamation mark, line break) while protecting atomic units (URLs, email addresses, inline code, numbers) from being split. Pick a rewrite mode from 8 options and an output language from 12. Click Rewrite All Sentences. The tool sends each sentence to the AI in parallel (1-4 at a time depending on your setting), receives the rewrite, and renders a side-by-side card showing the original and the rewrite with the changed words highlighted in green and removed words struck through in red.

For each sentence card you have three controls: Accept keeps the rewrite in your final text, Try Again regenerates the rewrite with the same mode (different wording), Reject reverts to the original. The final text below the cards updates live and reflects only the sentences you have accepted. You can switch modes mid-session without losing the rewrites you already accepted in another mode, since the final text is composed only of sentences you explicitly approved.

When the AI providers are all unreachable the tool falls back to a deterministic offline synonym-substitution engine that runs in your browser. Quality drops (more like a thesaurus pass than a real rewrite) but the tool still produces something useful, and a banner tells you the offline mode is active. The Humanize mode routes to the DeAI service, which applies a 5-stage rewrite pipeline including adversarial multi-candidate selection to lower neural AI-detector scores.

The 8 Rewrite Modes

Standard is the default. It rewrites each sentence for general clarity and readability without changing tone. Fluency is more aggressive about fixing grammar, awkward phrasing, and broken syntax. Formal shifts casual sentences to professional or academic register, swaps contractions, and removes colloquialisms. Simple targets a lower reading grade by replacing jargon with plain-English equivalents and breaking up long clauses.

Creative injects vivid verbs, sensory details, and figurative language while preserving meaning. Expand lengthens a sentence by adding context, examples, or qualifiers when the original is too terse. Shorten removes redundancy and condenses long sentences into concise equivalents. Humanize calls the DeAI service which combines a language-model rewrite, T5 sentence-level paraphrasing, and adversarial multi-candidate selection; output is targeted at lowering neural AI-detector scores.

Does Humanize mode remove AI detection?

It calls our DeAI service which combines a language-model rewrite, T5 sentence-level paraphrasing, and adversarial multi-candidate selection. In our internal MAGE neural-detector tests it bypasses detection on 50-95% of inputs depending on length and complexity. No tool can guarantee 100% bypass, and external validators can still occasionally flag output. Verify before relying on it for high-stakes submissions.

Does it preserve numbers, URLs, emails, and code?

Yes. The sentence splitter treats URLs, email addresses, numeric tokens, and inline code spans as atomic units. The AI prompt instructs the model not to alter them. Code blocks and lists preserve their structure across rewrites.
