Why AI Chatbots Cannot Sign Your PDF

Do my files get uploaded?
No. The Canvas API reads your signature and pdf-lib builds the finished PDF completely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted. The Network tab will show zero requests carrying your documents.
Can I use my existing paper signature?
Yes. Photograph it, upload the photo, and use the removal slider to erase the background. You will have a clean transparent signature you can place onto any PDF.
What if my signature is too small?
Use the Signature Size slider while the page is open. It scales the signature image before it is written into the PDF, so the result stays sharp.
Will my signature look right on the PDF?
Yes. The signature shown in the preview is placed on the page at the exact coordinates you choose. You see it positioned before you press Sign, so you control exactly how the final file looks.
Is this a legal electronic signature?
